(WASHINGTON DC)
January 9, 2004

Disgruntled former Bengals running back Corey Dillon is reportedly
discussing contract terms with the Washington Redskins. Dillon is already
unhappy with the way returning coach Joe Gibbs is considering using him, and
is already asking to be released from the contract he has yet to sign.

Said Dillon, "I am excited about the possibilites of playing for the
Redskins - on my terms. At this time I am not satisfied with the way they
haven't started using me yet, so I can not sign on to join them until they
negotiate an acceptable severance package so that I can get out of here and
go somewhere where I am appreciated." Dillon then promised to throw his new
uniform in to the stands as soon as he receives it.

Added Coach Joe Gibbs, "I am and was excited about a running back of Corey's
ability joing the Redskins, and I am and will also be sad to see him go.
Hopefully we can work out the details so he can come and go on good terms.
".

Gibbs had prepared the George Rogers "Walk Out Of Here So I Know You'd Go"
Trophy before the negotiations, now underway, took off...

Why don't you keep these lame articles in your own group instead of spamming
them accross multiple groups? Let me give you a tip, they are not funny.

Lighten up, Francis. The posts are topical to football, they aren't
attacking anybody, and I'm not selling anything - so they ain't spam. Other
readers have found them to be entertaining. Do you ever write anything that
isn't somehow flaming another NG participant? I refuse to surrender the
right to have a little fun with other sports afficianados, to the hardasses
that think a public sports newsgroup is the Holy Grail and their private
possession. What happened to you, the surgeon who was supposed to remove
that pole from your ass take out your sense of humor instead?

And you thought Bengals fans would find this hilarious right? You are a
troll and I treat you as such.

Mike N.,

I must admit. Your Green/Coleman one was funny. However this Corey Dillon
story was a real stinker.

Pretty good, Mike. I lost all respect for Dillon when he re-signed with the
Bengals after blasting them before.

This was amusing. Ignore the anal-retentives who think that a
newsgroup is a pristine thing best left unsullied by messages.

Mike, would you do a lot of people a special favor and quit
cross-posting
your stuff into groups where people don't particularly care for it?
Dillon
going to the Redskins is fine, for the Redskins. Neither the Ravens or
the
Niners, not to mention the Cardinals, are in your the East.

Mike -- I like 'em, it's much better than the usual "your team sucks, no
yours does" drivel.

So where do you usually post? I'll subscribe to whereever that is, since
you're not posting here anymore...

I like 'em, too. Post away, Mike. The N)ext key is available for those
who want to bypass them.
