Gee, just because they college coaches do well in college doesn't mean
a damn thing in the pros. Nick Sabin is a prime example. How come
Miami didn't find someone already in the pros as an assistant before
they hired this guy, who eventually quit. They were paying him over 3
million too. I heard Atlanta was courting Pete Caroll last week about
to pay him $$$ when he hasn't done anything in the NFL. He wasn't
exactly a good coach back when he was running the Jets either.
It boggles my mind when there are assistant NFL coaches that already
are in the NFL and don't get an opportunity. It goes to show that
owners are no more knowledgeable than anyone else looking in.
