So let's go with this story as the Herald reported. A Patriots
employee stayed behind in the Super Dome and, unnoticed, taped the
Rams walk-through. According to the story, nobody checked for his
credentials and he was able to walk out unnoticed.

Now, let's put this in context. The date is February 2nd, 2002. Less
than five months from September 11th, 2001. Just before the largest
event in America since September 11th. The event that everybody in
the US -- including all conter-terrorist experts-- agrees is the most
likely target for another terrorist attack. An event that has the
largest security of any event in the history of the US.

In the middle of this, we're supposed to believe that someone was able
to stand alone in the potential terrorist target and take film. And
he was not noticed or checked by NFL security, any of the the
SuperDome security, any of the local New Orleans security, or any of
the 800,000 or so federal agents who were specifically on the look-out
for anybody acting suspiciously, with the single thing they were
looking for more than ANYTHING ELSE being someone taking pictures or
video of the potential target.

This may the single least plausible story in the entire saga...

Well, if he was already in the building, he must have had some
credentials on him. Maybe security just saw a little credential,
without noticing that he was a Patriots' guy. Maybe security figured,
hey, the dude is already in the building...he must have been allowed
in ok.

I dunno....
