A lot was made of the 11 am announcement was going to make today. And
mum was the word. No inkling whatsoever of what the Bombers were up
to. Sure gave the impression that something was big, real big. Turns
out it was just the signing of a couple of U of M Bison football
players.

So right now the question is, what's the big deal??? A couple of fine
university prospect is pretty good, but they are still prospects
heading into training camp. Hopefully they will be in the future a
couple of raw rookies that develope into terrific players.

But really, the announcement was a MAJOR let down. Usually with coming
announcements from the Bombers there is a hint of what it's about. A
teaser if you will. Like I said above the absolute silence from the
team suggested something big. Going through my mind were the
following...

A) A blockbuster trade.

B) They signed a real good back-up QB.

C) Lyle Bauer suddenly quit.

D) Brendan Taman was suddenly fired.

E) The Bombers got sick and tired of the negative, idiotic, and over-
the-top ramblings about the Bombers from Winnipeg Mayor (and David
Asper puppet) Sam "PT Barnum" Katz and were righteously suing his ass
off.

Two U of M prospects...ok, fine, good...next!
