After the Vikings' win against Detroit, and losses by Philadelphia,
Chicago, New Orleans and Washington, the Vikings would hold the last
wild card spot if the season ended today.

Not so. We split head-to-Head with the Lions, but they win the
second tie-breaker: Division record. Then Detroit lost to the Cards,
so Arizona would get the sixth playoff seed.
