Except for a bad call on the final play of the game, Cleveland would have
won the game with the Cardinals. The TV replays show that Winslow caught
the ball in the corner of the end zone and was immediately knocked out of
bounds by two Cardinal defenders while still in the air. If they couldn't
correct the bad call, why did they bother to review the play to begin with.
I'll admit that Cleveland made enough stupid penalties to lose, but that
particular ending left a stink.

I didn't see the game, but I'm guessing they reviewed the play to see if
both his feet were inbounds. Judgment calls, such as whether or not he
was forced out of bounds, are beyond the scope of instant replay. It's
always been that way, so no one should be surprised.
