Maybe I'm being simplistic, but it seems to be that if you spoke with
the following people and asked "Did you see a tape of Rams walk-
through prior to SB36" that the question would be resolved instantly,
one way or the other --

Charlie Weis, Romeo Crennel, Jeff Davidson, Rob Ryan, Eric Mangini,
and anybody else who was on the Patriots coaching staff but now has a
steady and secure job somewhere else so can speak freely.

If they all say "No," doesn't that pretty much resolve the issue?
That would mean that even if a tape exists, it was a rogue tape. And
if one or more of them says "Yes," then that also resolves the issue,
but in a different way, of course.

But resolving it instantly doesn't appear to be exactly what Senator
Arlen Sphincter has in mind, does it?

You are not being simplistic, you are using common sense.

The fact is that this has not been resolved is because the tape is a
fantasy of some Hatriot who called in to ESPN as this 'anonymous source'.

You would be outraged if they "narced"!!!

If they told the the truth you would call them "jealous liars"!!!

It is time to face the truth. The Patriots have ZERO legitimate Super
Bowl victories.

I believe Mangini would be known as a 'hostile witness'.
