Come on, swamp, admit it. you're one of the biggest 'Nole fanz out there.
You're loyal to the N/G and always have something to say about them. hell,
you're plum eat up with it! can't much blame ya, though, being they ain't no
future with them there gaytors who'll enjoy a 4-5 loss season this year.

I could smell that one coming a mile away, Fear; but i'll give it to ya,
especially since we ribbed florida for years playing teams like that. we
damn sure ain't proud of it, but when the schedule was released earlier this
year i did some digging to see what the hell happened. With the ACC now
being 12, FSU had to scrub better previously scheduled OOC teams (Texas A&M,
Nebraska, Auburn for the '05 & '06 years), to ensure conference games were
met, (eventhough i could do without puke U. and fake forest), which resulted
in even pussier teams being added on for 2006 . . . but that's all that
were available that would/could do it.
don't get you're drawers in a wad just yet my friend; this will be the only
'wuss' OOC schedule year for many moons to come:
2007 - Colorado, Alabama, UAB (not really a good one, but remeber
Louisville?), florida
2008 - Colorado, florida, TBA
2009 - BYU, florida and a TBA (tenatively USC, Texas or Texas A&M)
2010 - BYU, Oklahoma, florida
2011 - Oklahoma, Air Force, florida
2012 - Air Force, West Virginia, florida (world is supposed to be
destroyed this year)
2013 - West Virgina, florida and a TBA

Not all that great but a boatload better that what we have scheduled in '06.
I guess if we had to have a 'weaker' schedule, this would be the time to do
it to develop the younger guys and scrimmage the 2nd & 3rd teams a bit.
FWIW, there's 4 OOC games this year and you never know, those little
bastards will come out for blood . . . just like Louisville did a few years
back and pulled it off.
