They beat the NFCs #1 team Dallas in Dallas, #2 team Green Bay in
Wisconsin subzero temps, I think they earned the right. I'd like to see
them kick New England's ass in the Superbowl to complete the trifecta
upset, but I guess if they did that, then the Superbowl would be a joke.
Pfff.

They played with character and poise...something we didn't do.

IAWTP - except that the gints have a legit shot to upset the Pats in
the SB. I'm not crazy - I still expect the Pats to win and reach
perfection - but the gints played them tough a month ago, and have
only gotten better and more confident. It could be a very good game.

Only if he's a moron. You can't put the second miss on the kicker.
The snap was truly awful.

I doubt the SB would be a joke, it would show that it's tough to go
all the way. NE winning ot NY winning would be historic either way.
Eli winning would make it back to back brothers, Strahan winning would
give him a ring, and hasn't it been a while since the NFC won a SB?

I was saying that with a touch of sarcasm. I'm always cheering on the
underdog when the Eagles are out of it. Wildcard team winning the bowl?
When's the last time that happened?

Since 2000, every superbowl but one, has at least seeded a wildcard.

Oh, that's right, sarcasm. Sometimes difficult to discern via typed text.

Please!! An Eagles fan would know nothing about winning the SuperBowl since
they are the only team in our division that never has. Pathetic!!!!

Last time you guys made it your QB was so scared he was puking all over the
field. What a colossal chokejob!!!!! I'm just glad you guys are back in last
place where you belong.

Well, Gman, if you look at the original poster's google profile you
can see that he's not an Eagles fan - that's his only post in this
ng. Though his posting history is thin and so he may be a morph/
troll, from the looks of it he's most likely a new yorker (yankees
fan).

Meanwhile, you'll find most Eagles fans here (and elsewhere) to be
supportive of the gints playoff run this year. (I've posted kudos in
that ng myself.) Yet, at a very exciting time to be a gints fan, you
choose to come in here (why?) and act like a jerk, an ass, even like a
cowdung fan.

Oh wait - from the looks of YOUR posting history, you ARE a cowdung
fan. It figures. HA!
