My poor 32cc Sears 18 inch chain saw has thrown it's last chain. I went and
got me a Stihl Farm Boss Ms 290 with a 20 incher....Somebitch drags the
ground when I walk and weighs about 15 pounds. I cut a pine tree, about 21
inch diameter like it was butter....
I may never go to Sears again.

OK, a "taking out kitchen walls" memoquery: How does one tell if a wall is a
supporting wall? Is it a good bet that it's NOT a supporting wall if it runs
parallel to the joists and is only about six feet long?

I'm in the heart of pine tree logging country. The only pro model saws I
found was Stihl and whoever that is that bought out Poulin. Kinda surprised
me that I didn't have more options, like what you have. I like Stihl, my
last one was made out of steel and lasted 25 years before I poked a hole in
the steel gas tanks and cracked the frame when I dropped it drunk from the
top of a telephone pole I was modifying cause the phone company pissed me
off...
