Gregg Williams to Cowboys?

I thought I just heard on NBC4 that Gregg Williams is interviewing for
a position with the Cowboys, (presumably as defensive coordinator) but
I have to admit I wasn't paying close attention to the broadcast. Did
any one else hear that?

I'm sure he would love a chance to try and stick it to Snyder twice
each season.

All we would have to do is throw intermediate passes as he will have the
safeties deep all game

re-edit: looks like it was correct... ironing out the contract and will
most likely sign on as the Jags D coordinator by tonight or tomorrow.

I don't let the *facts* get in the way of a good barb.

Seriously, though, if the consensus around the league was that Williams
was a serious contender for a head coaching job, he wouldn't have been
interviewing for DC jobs on successful teams, much less being offered
such a position.

Like I said before, Redskins fans ranted and raved about how Ramsey
could have been a starter on most other teams in the league. When he got
out in the cruel world, we saw how untrue that was. I think it's the
same with Williams: Good DC, but probably not HC material.
