The last 2 "Year Afters" were not kind at all for the NYG.
The crown in '86 was followed by a players strike (The infamous "replacement
players" year) and the year after '90 Parcells split and we ended up with
you know who.
This time we have the THIRD YOUNGEST TEAM in the NFL.
Our coaches are ALL coming back, a rarity for a SB team.
Of course the big Question is... Can Eli play most of next year like he
finished this year?
With a healthy Burress and Shockey and Steve Smith with another camp under
his belt I can't find one reason why he shouldn't. I think the main thing
going for him will be his boost in confidence, after all he is the MAN right
now.
Also I'd like to upgrade at back up QB if we can, Eli has proved to be
durable so far, but I'd hate to see next season to go down the drain if Eli
goes down.

"We were trying not to make this another feel-good story or another Patriots
dynasty story," defensive end Michael Strahan said. "We were trying to start
our own dynasty. A New York Giants dynasty."
