You guys must see this now. I know most of you Chief fans are appologists
for the preacher, but you must now see how he destroys offenses and only
promotes himself. This man was a disaster in NY and now this miserable
shell of a human being is now tearing down a once proud Chiefs franchise.

Herm must go!

I have to agree that Herm displayed very little talent in all of the games
he played in this year.

I have been a 30 year Chiefs fan and seldom post to the group but I
can assure you I am no apologist for Herm Edwards. I have never
understood why any team would be willing to hire someone with such a
losing record as a head coach. It could be worse though, we could be
a super bowl contender team like the Chargers that got stuck with an
even bigger idiot in the form of Norv Turner. If that moron can get
them thru one playoff game it will mean that God is a Bolt's fan.

Yes, why would New England have ever hired Bill Belichick as head coach,
especially given the perennial Super Bowl contender Marty Schottenheimer
left behind for him in Cleveland?

Most unemployed coaches are unemployed for a reason. It's kind of
difficult to find guys with proven track records. That is, unless you
get Bill Parcells to unretire for the 10th time, and put up with him
retiring again on you in two-three years.

NE hired Bellichek because he was a PROVEN great DC, in NE and
elsewhere, who had a 4 year gap in head coaching jobs to analyze and
improve on what he did wrong in Cleve, both on the field and off. And
boy, did he adjust and change.
OTOH, Herm had even never been a co-ordinator, just a position coach and
scout, and was hired directly after a 4 win season, and has yet to think
he did anything wrong, either in NY or KC. To compare him in any way to
Bellichek is ludicorous.

Hey, pathetic clown,

I am no Edwards fan, but it has nothing to do with skin.

Is your clown hat a long pointy white hat with peepholes by chance?

It seems the only clown trick you know is typing with your head firmly up
your ass.

You must be right, race has noting to do with it. The NFL does not have a
rule that all head coaching job interviews must include a black candidate.
The NFL has never lauded the fact that there are more and more black head
coaches. Of course race is a non issue. The NAACP is fine but the KKK is
not. What a screwed up society...

explain anything to him is like giving a monkey a banana.

I've been a "never say die" Chiefs (and Royals) fan for 40
years. Of course, I've been through the tough times too. Sadly, no
one plays for "love of the game" anymore. It's all about the mighty
dollar. We have alot of great talent. Bowe was an excellent draft
choice and proved himself well. I'm sure we'll get another quality
group this year. It would be extremely disappointing to see the
Chiefs follow suit with the Royals and become the "farm club" of this
league.
Yes, there needs to be some major changes in the coaching
department. I believe that there are even some major colleges that
would have the "go getters" to lift the Chiefs to greatness once
again.

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
"Chiefs Fight Song"

Give a cheer for Kansas City,
Loud and clear for the red and gold,
As the Chiefs march on to vict'ry
Like Our mighty teams of old.
Beat the drum, here they come
Warriors, brave and strong.
In the stands, loyal fans
Cheer their team along.

I believe that your politically correct mindset deters your common sense...
