This has got to be the worst I have seen the Bears play in maybe 30 years.
This score at halftime, 33-7, is really more of the Bears own doing than
anything. Thank God the bye week is soon. I think the Bears 2003 season
review movie for next year will be called, "Clueless: The Sequel."

at least they had defense back then and were entertaining from a
defensive point of view.
the Dooley and Gibron offenses were a bit more creative then this pile
laid by Shoop. Shoop is like Wanny, the longer he is around the worse he
is.

You can subtitle it the epilogue since this coaching staff won't be
around after this season.
After watching a few games in week 1, it appears to me the Bears have
the least amount of talent on the field and the worst coaching. A train
wreck in the making...

The turnovers are not his fault but the gameplan was terrible.
John Shoop seems to think Stewart can lead a team on his shoulders alone ala
Favre, Montana, Marino and even McNabb. Only reason Kordell was successful
during his up years with Pittsburgh was due to the run game. Run the ball
to setup the play action pass.
Look at the preseason games...90pct of the plays were passes. This at a
time when the offensive line and Running backs were still in question. Is
pass blocking any more important then Run blocking ?
If Shoop thinks Kordell is gonna take the Bears offense to greater heights
by him heaving the ball 35+ times a game he is in for a rude awakening.
Kordell cannot carry a team alone. There are only a few QB's in the history
of the NFL who can carry a team and be relied upon to throw the ball 35 plus
times a game.
Go Blue !!

That, and consistently having one of the very best defenses year in
and year out. KS whined about how he had it in Pgh. He had no idea how
cushy he had it, but he's about to find out
