Using the FuhbawPPC football simulation program (which incidentally
had a wlt - 123-111-4
pct - 0.5256 record in 2007 season), and comparing the most recent
"big game" winners. In the past Fuhbaw has determined repeatedly that
the WAS91 Redskins are the best SB winner of all time. CHI85 and
GBP66 close behind. It's not to say for exaample that Mark Rypien was
the best QB, only that a team that makes 14.4 yds per completion,
allows only 1 sack for 50 pass attempts, etc. etc. will beat any other
team.

NYG07 - worst in group compared with (NYJ68, WAS91, SLR99, DEN98,
BAL00, NEP04, GBP96, GBP66). Worst in defensive success %.( but better
than IND06). 2nd worst PAT conversions. 2nd worst in yards per pass
completion, but better than BAL00. #3 in yards per carry 4.4. Giants
developed into a short-pass strong run team and made the most of their
talent. Almost same as WAS91 in def. sacks per pass attempt (10.93
vs. 10.98, both well behind CHI85 8.2.

NEP04 - rated 6/9 in group. Worst defensive pass%. 2nd worst in
defensive success [inc, int,sack, fumbles] per defensive plays. 3rd
best/lowest in offensive success [inc, int, sack, fumbles] per
offensive play. 2nd best in Fieldgoal %. Best Road Offensive
Efficiency (2.08 rating based on Fuhbaw program game play)

PIT05 - midpack 6/10 teams. Worst in group ball control plays per
game. 2nd worst in defensive pass percentage. Almost same as PIT78
split runs/passes.

IND06 - 9th of 10 overall stat rating in group (CHI85, WAS91, MIA72,
DAL92, PIT78, PIT05, TBB02, SF489, NEP03). Worst defensive play
success percentage (interceptions, sacks, incompletions, fumbles per
defensive play - .201). Worst in group in defensive pass incompletion
percentage. #1 Field goal percentage (both groups 18 teamscompared).
#1 in percentage passes attempted of 18 teams/SB winners. #2 in select
group of 10 in passes per sack.

In Fuhbaw Game Play WAS91 easily defeated NYG07 home and away by
average score 24-13. Bottom line, NYG07 one of the weakest SB winners
ever, but credit due for winning it all.
