I was planning with great anticipation a perfect season. I collected
various newspaper clippings, recorded games and archived relevant internet
discussions related to the potential perfect season. I had planned on
sharing this 30 years from now in my old age with my grandchildren. My
dream has been shattered. Moreover, the gints fans are behaving in an
immature fashion by rubbing the defeat in....similar to salt on a wound.
Sure, the Pats fans were confident and engaged in pre-game bravado, but that
is to be expected.

I realize my depression stems from a group of burly men performing on a
field whom I have no control over, but I am a true blue red blooded American
man who enjoys football. I have been emotionally devastated by this defeat.

You might want to think about a doctor because its going to get a lot worse.
Mr. Belicheat is going to take the whole organization down with him if they
don't get rid of him first. You really do reap what you sow, some people
keep telling themselves that there is no God, just to get by, but in the end
they WILL BE the foolish ones. Yes, everyone else outside of the few NE fans
are laughing and enjoying this to the max. People love to see justice done
where it should be. Sorry James......shouldn't of counted them chickens
before they were hatched.

As for the Gints fans in here rubbing it in.....its pretty much fans of a
lot of teams. The Pats trolls spend many hours pissing people off
daily/yearly, its only normal that the people will return the favor.

Justice is making it to the super bowl?

If they were "returning the favor", these posts would be in the trolls'
inboxes, not the newsgroup. In reality, they're not seeking revenge --
they're being hypocrites.

Exactly. You're just a troll being a troll. None of this "he started it
first!" nonsense. At least you're honest.

Some people are under the impression that trolls are being dispatched by
newsgroup regulars to serve as some sort of ambassador to other newsgroups.
It's such an incredibly ignorant outlook used by trolls who are in denial
that they're trolls, and they should be embarrassed for not coming up with a
rational excuse for their behavior.

My troll meter is about pegged....

The season was exhilarating, more than the fans of most other teams
could dream of their team accomplishing. (Even, perhaps especially,
fans of the Giants).

Also, keep in mind that dorks like HD-DVD Suxx (TJM) look like this:

if it makes you feel any better, you team brought incredible joy and
nearly unimaginable bliss to everyone ELSE in the sporting community.
http://www.theonion.com/content/news/patriots_season_perfect_for_rest

usually, the satisfaction of winning can only be throughly enjoyed by
the fans of the winning team. in this case, by getting bitch-slapped
as the Pats did, they lifted the spirits of the entire nation.

no small feat, you should be proud.

Well, I guess when everybody else's favorite team ended their season early,
the children among that group felt the need to root for someone else.

That's one way to distinguish between real football fans and drama queens.
The real football fans don't need to take sides or place bets to make the
game interesting. As for you, well...I think it's clear which group you
belong to.

I didn't earn or lose anything. I don't know why you feel the need to
vicariously enjoy the triumphs or suffer the defeat of sports teams. It's a
little pathetic. And...well...borderline psychotic. Although, I think it's
clear from your posting history in this NG that you like to live in a
fantasy world, so this is probably just one more element of it. I don't
know what it is in your real life that you're trying so hard to escape from,
but you should probably spend more time addressing those issues. HTH

Liar liar pants on fire? What are you, like 12? Next thing you know you'll

Didn't you already reply to my post about 10 minutes ago? Wow, you really
had to mull that one over for a while. What's pathetic is that even after
you did, you STILL don't understand it.

Here's a hint: sure, I guess it's a reference to something a 12 year old
might say -- or, for those of us who are not intellectually lagging, it's
something a 6 year old might say. But yeah, I guess when you were 12 you
probably first discovered that clever little rhyme, while the rest of us
were starting to think about high school and girls and other things normal
12 year olds think of.

[PS to anyone else reading this thread -- anyone find it ironic that Mr.
"LOL" himself is asking if someone else is a 12 year old?]

I was giving you the benefit of the doubt because i know how slow you are.
Sorry for not responding more quickly, we just went out to eat. I hope i
didn't have to clear it with you first. What is your infatuation with me
anyways? You're very creepy.

So now you've gone from "liar liar pants on fire" to "I'm rubber, you're
glue..." You're really on top of your game tonight when it comes to
arguing a point.

You really have no clue do you? Yes, i "LOL" a lot, you haven't a clue why?
You are either the biggest hypocrite on usenet or one of the dumbest, i
haven't made up my mind which it is yet. Have you ever read the definition
of what a troll is? No matter what i post, YOU always troll me. I wasn't
even speaking to you in this thread and you had to troll me. You do it every
single time. Then proceed to call others trolls.....MZ, you are a troll in
your own NG and a hypocrite, that's funny and i will "LOL" to that. May God
bless you.
