Back in '60, the AFL came into being and Denver was awarded a
franchise. One of the first things I noticed about the team was the
ritual of having a girl ride around the field on a horse everytime the
team scored a TD. The Denver dipshits acted like this was some kind
of cool, innovative idea, but in fact they copied it from the
Baltimore Colts featuring whoever was the current "Miss Colt" riding
"Dixie," the team mascot.

The mountain-billies out in Denver couldn't come up with their own
clever shtick; they had to plagiarize.

And I wouldn't be surprised if you mountain trash didn't copy the
exact melody of the old Colt fight song.

Wouldn't surprise me a bit.
