I won't care who wins.

I'll be content knowing it's the first election of my voting life
where I don't have to choose between the lesser of two (we)evils.

Obama has more potential to be a complete disaster of Faulknerian

He also has more upside potential. He won't be mediocre, either way.

Fortunately for all of us, I see no reason why he couldn't be mediocre.

And if he screws up big time, the congress will filibuster until we get
another Ronold or Newt. Just like last time.

He will be a piece of raw meat in a dog pound. The idea that anyone
can find middle ground in Congress these days is as naive as it gets.

If he's just mediocre, I will breathe a great sigh of relief. I don't
care if it seems Victorian, the idea of a man born Muslim with his
finger on the doomsday switch bothers me.

me thinks you are greatly over estimating any President power.. mediocre is
all any President can hope to be these days because the political machine is
borked so badly.

I wouldn't worry about it, Mitt Romney is out of the race, and
Huckabee will be soon.
