The Jets now really need a WR-bad. Cotchery, Coles, and nobodies...there
are so many holes in the team-no way to address them all in just this off
season alone.

Same need, whether with or without McYawn.
I'm not so worried about WR. I like Wallace Wright, and Chanci Stuckey looked good before
his injury. Hopefully, they put him on a strengthening program, and he won't still be a
twig when camp opens.
The interesting thing will be, how management handles Coles.
Will they reach a compromise, or will they look to FA, and the draft?

Outstanding. They got rid of two of the players that I swore "I would drop
the Jets as my team once and for all if they don't ditch them". Clarke and
McDrop are gone. YAY !!! Now... Why the hell isn't Clement on that list
too ??? He isn't even worth having around to push late round draft picks.
All he is going to do is bring down anyone near him with his low level of
play.

so I guess we are all similarly uninmpressed with the Brad Smith
experiment? Instead of watching McCareins drop the ball, now we can
watch more of Smith dropping the ball.

I have many memories of Justin dropping balls, and a few of him catching
them-but for the life of me I can't recall Brad Smith doing anything
memorable-good or bad...

Coles bargaining position just got better.
Look for the Jets to sign Stallworth after the Pats release him.

Do you mean, with the release of McYawn, his bargaining position is better??
If so, I don't see it. I don't think our WR position, even if we sign nobody, is worse
than with McYawn. 0 = 0, no matter how ya spin it.
Besides, on McYawn's best day, he could never bring the toughness, hands, etc, Coles
brings when he's injured.

Clement won't be on it, until they have a big body for OT.
Even then, they may decide to bring him back to compete in TC, for a backup spot.
As long as he's not starting, I'm cool.
