The Giants released fullback Jim Finn yesterday. He failed his
physical. Of course, the way Madison Hedgecock played in 2007,
combined with the nice contract they gave him, Finn was less than
essential. Finn was a pretty good one though. Maybe he'll get it
together and make another NFL roster while he's still young enough.

If he doesn't ... I'd bet there's some type of job waiting for him
with the Giants ... The Giants are like that ...

Best of luck to Finn, he played well for the Giants. Hedgecock's an
upgrade IMO, though even if Finn could pass the physical.

Just to update, another Giants fullback, Robert Douglas was re-signed
today to a one-year deal. Also re-signed to one-year deals were WR
Michael Jennings and DE Dave Tollefson.

From what little I saw of Tollefson, it appears he might have some
potential. Jennings teeth alone make it a good investment....

Aw right! I like Jennings! I really like Jennings! And Tollefson might
be a bit of a surpise, too!

Frankly, with Jennings on board (assuming healthy) Moss has got to be
history.

I believe the operative word is, as you imply, "going".

Tollefson looks like he's worth another look and Jennings had made major
strides before he got hurt.

I'll second that. Good luck to a guy who always gave 100%. Does anyone
know if a guy who was on IR the entire season gets a SB ring?

Even if it's not required, I'm sure an organization as classy as the NY
Giants will give him a ring.

Now if Tiki wants a ring claiming his criticism of Eli was important to
his development, that I hope they would turn down. LOL
