A little birdy told me Joe J is battling a STAPH INFECTION and is strongly
considering retiring. This is not good news.

Not 100% confirmed but I trust my source. (Not the same source who said most
of the team hates Brady.)

i had to look it up to see how often he missed practice during the
2007 season even though he started most games AFAIK. perhaps this
reflects a lack of confidence in tim carter? anyway, up until game 4
it was his elbow, then the knee injury against the pats in game 5.

given the previous problems with staph suffered by braylon, etc. i
would have thought that a mutli million dollar professional
organization would be able to figure how it happened and address it.

we don't need this already missing a 1st round draft pick. i'd thnk
the best alternative, should it prove to be necessary, would be to go
after a FA, though i have no idea of who's available.

2 other completely different sources have confirmed he definitely had a
staph infection. The severity and possible retirment are still up in the air
as far as I'm concerned.
