"Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you
shed your cynicism. That you put down your divisions. That you come
out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones. That
you push yourselves to be better. And that you engage. Barack will
never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved,
uninformed."

"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very
well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive,
we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build
your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a
gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will
follow ours." (General Sir Charles Napier)

Well, God knows, that line will never work in America. We highly value our

While I agree with what the two of you are saying in general, I would
also say that there's a vast difference between "unable to agree, but
civil" and "what we have now".

Prediction: Obama Loses Wisconsin Just a hunch, but I think Obama blew it in Wisconsin. I get the sense that Hillary ended very well...she was all over the state this weekend while Obama left. If he does manage to win, it will be close, and a few more days would have given it to her. Jo |
