In bowl games against the SEC: Michigan is 7-3; Ohio State is 0-9.
Heck, if Michigan joined the SEC, they'd probably own the conference
and finally be able to beat OSU!

Unless, of course, Appy State also joined the SEC.

Yeah, then App St would win the SEC, but at least Michigan would still
beat OSU. |

Good point. It was pretty sad to see a team in the MNC game who's
signature win is over a team that lost to Appy State. I am having a
lot of fun at work today, though.

As long as the Wolverinies stay out of the Southern Conference, they'll
be all right.

Even better, let's play a few bowl games in Cleveland, Cincinnati,
Chicago, and Detroit. |

Dude, the SEC won't even play regular season games up here, let alone
bowel games. Get real.

sort of misleading, because(especially over the last ten years)
Michigan has tended to be playing lesser overachieveing sec teams
whereas they had an underachieving team in a lesser bowl. Whereas
tOSU has faced usually the best or second best SEC team(with South
carolina being the exception). Just over the last ten or 15 years or
so I can think of OSU playing(and losing to) a peyton manning led
tennessee team, a loaded FSU team, Florida, a very good georgia team,
and national champions Florida and LSU. Michigan, meanwhile, has
played Arkansas when they maybe were realistically about the fourth or
so best team in the conference, Auburn in the same bowl in the same
situation, Florida this year, A zook coached florida team, and a few
other similar type teams Im forgetting....I think the only time
Michigan def. was matched up against an sec team that was thought to
be one of the top 2 sec teams in a bowl recently was Alabama in the
orange bowl a while back(tom brady's last college game) and they won
that in OT.
I think if you switch the opponents, the records would be a lot
different as well. |

We've already got Mississippi and Vanderbilt why do we need a third
school for the Homecoming games? |

Michigan isn't good enough to be in the SEC..Or the Big12. They could
prolly get into the WAC if they give their Big101112 spot to SMU!

no one from those cities would be in favor of that, so why should the
rest of us be?

6-1 against the SEC in the last ten years, including spanking 'bama,
Auburn, and Florida twice. But, what does that mean. Just cuz we
dominate yer conference doesn't mean we'd dominate yer conference, right?
Hell, we handled Florida way better than LSU did; so, shouldn't we be
declared SEC conference champs, and awarded a MNC? Wait.... done. UM,
newly minted SEC champs, and something like our 34th National
Championship. Go Blue!
Cheers.
