He's had a decent season, but really it's been all about the defense.
That news neither surprises nor concerns me

Like in the Denver game when the defense gave up a last minute TD that
tied the score.
About the defense, yes. All about the defense is, to be generous,
uninformed.

The defense has been a major factor in the Packers success, but the
offense has outperformed it. GB is ranked second in offense and only
11th in defense (in yards, the default measurement - Wailen isn't
around to argue otherwise). If you're more interested in points, the
Packer offense is ranked fourth while the defense is tied for sixth
(with the Seahawks interestingly).
The defense has been good, but frankly they're not an elite unit
(yet). Close though. The main thing is the Packers at least have a
defense now, which was the main component missing during the Sherman
years. I would say this year has been mainly about the QB, the
receivers, and the defense. |

But it does seem Favre (or Rodgers) have a good group of receivers. I
don't believe any of them are going anywhere. |

Note to Jusford, the moron ...
The Bears clobbered Favre and the Packers twice this season.
Your season is a total fluke, the Bears will be on top of the NFC North once
again in '08 / '09 |

And just who will be the QB? Sorry, Chicago is on a downward slide. I
think Minnesota and Detroit beat Chicago twice last year. |

Yet you are still a moron.

Note to **Bigstink**...
I don't care if the Boars win the next 20 matchups against the Packers
as long as the results are:
Packers = NFC North Champions
Boars = at home watching the playoffs |

Imagine how good they could be WITHOUT him.
I predict Seattle will win 38-17 (yawn) |

I forgot. The game is a Lambo (pardon my Frensh) Field.
Should be 38-10 |

Losing to the Bears is tough, but not a surprise to anyone who has followed
the rivalry over the years. It really doesn't matter if one team is having a
better season or not...... It is one of those "things". I guess you just
haven't followed the Bear/Pack rivalry very long.
