I think we are all missing the point here. Had Rush made this comment a
few weeks ago, the story would be burried in the sports section of the
paper. But he made them on the eve of the pill abuse story being broken.
ESPN saw a convenient way to ask for his resignation before the the real
trouble hit the fan.

The OP was making a joke. Funny. HA HA! It's called a pun. A play on words
between Rush the commentator, and a pass rush that QBs see every game.

What I can't understand is why everyone is getting their panties in
wad just because rush is going after McNabb. That's just the way the
game is played, folks. When NcNabb drops back into the pocket, rush
is going to come after him.
I really can't see any logical reason why people expect rush to stop
coming after McNabb. Nobody expects rush to stop coming after Kurt
