Does anyone have a link to the Las Vegas odds for teams to win the Super Bowl?

Which team has the best odds? The worst?

Those are about the most realistic odds I've ever seen pre-season. Those guys
like Danny Sheridan in USA Today will make the worst team like 100 trillion to
one to win the SB, when in reality no team, even a first year expansion team,
is more than a 200-1 underdog.

Though it's interesting to note that the Cards went from 200-1 to 300-1
and the Texans went from 250-1 to 300-1, clearly to try to entice
*someone* to bet on them. And the Cards even have the easiest schedule
in the NFL, based on last year's records.

I still think with odds like those that you would make money in the long run if
you simply bet a dollar on each team to win the SB before the season, as a
couple of long shots have won (SF in 1981, Rams in 99 and the Patriots in 2001)
and over the course of time one would make a profit betting this way.

Perhaps, but the break-even point would be 31-1, and how often do teams
with higher odds than that win?

So it's Tampa at 5/1; Philly at 7/1; St. Louis (far too low of odds
before they prove anything about last year being a fluke), Oakland
(too old? Certainly looked it in preseason.), Pittsburgh, Miami, and
Tennessee at 8/1.

Hmmm... Tampa at 5/1 sounds like a good bet from here. I'd have them
down around 3/1, especially if their offense comes around. With no
Vick in Atlanta for four games and the rest of the NFC taking a step
back, Tampa looks to be *puke* about as safe of a bet as you'll get
this year.

The Rams were about a 200-1 underdog, and IIRC the Niners were about the same.
New England was a real underdog, and a number of other teams who were lightly
considered before the season who went on to win the SB, such as the 1968 Jets,
1980 Raiders, 1982 Redskins, 1991 Redskins and 2000 Ravens to name a few. Even
though the 1984 Bears went to the NFC Championship game, most people did not
expect them to run the table the following season. Last season the Bucs were
IIRC 18-1 underdogs to win the SB.
