Considering the hype the Bills got and the domination over a
supposedly decent NE team, I am mildly surprised the spread is this
low. I was expecting a 10-point+ spread and thought of taking Jags if
it were over 10 points. But only 2.5? I don't know. You can't read
into any one week/game in this league, especially now a days, but does
Jax have the horses to stay with the Bills right now. The single great
additions Buff made this year, IMO, is Sam Adams. It's now coincidence
that he won a ring while in Balt and win the AFC in Oakland. He just
destroys opp.'s inside rushing game. The Bills got a lot of talents
between Bledsoe, Henry, Moulds, Reed, Adams, Pat Williams, Spikes,
Fletcher, Miloy and both corners. If Jax can stay close to these guys,
it will bode well for their season

If they had been soundly beaten by Carolina then the spread probably would
have been fairly big, but the Jags had a good showing against what many
people consider to be a good team, on the road. I doubt the spread would
have hit the 10 point range unless they had been blown out last week.
Still, maybe 2.5 is pretty low considering what Buffalo did to New England
last week. |

Chuck....call me crazy, but I'm predicting a 23-17 Jaguars win this
week.
I think it's the classic "letdown" scenario for Buffalo with their big
divisional win last week & that awfully low 2.5 point spread does
nothing but make me feel even more confident the Jags take this one. |

I can't get my arms wrapped around this one. Well, actually, at least
50% of all games are not predictable at all. I could see an upset, ala
hot, humid FL weather putting the funk on Buff, ala how it has
happened to the Steelers, Eagles, etc. But, at least in the beach
areas, we have been having cooler weather than normal for this time of
year. Anyone know what kind of weather they are calling for Sunday? |

I certainly think its in the realm of possible. A Jag win wouldn't
shock me. But I do think the Bills are going to prove a very good team
this season. If Jags beat them, it will be fairly impressive; but then
again, beating Philly last year didn't prove as indicative for the
season's outcome |

Whats the point of the 'fair catch' ? OK. Excuse me - I'm from the UK and watch a fair bit of NFL on TV. However, one rule I don't understand is the fair catch after a punt. Whats the point ? By doing this the recieving team gets no opportunity to return the ball (i.e. a return of 0 yards). A

We're an eight-point underdog going in What were we last year going to Soldier Field, something like a ten point underdog? We got thoroughly thrashed in our first meeting against the Bears, so that point-spread was no surprise. Neither should this point-spread be a surprise, being that last su
What the hell is going on with the point spread? Been thinking about betting the 'Hawks but I've never seen this before. This is flat weird. They opened a 9 point 'dog, then went to +9.5. Then back to +9. Now, overnight, in eight hours they've gone to +7.5 WTF? Did someone get injured on the Packers? Di |
