Just wondering. What with the way in which the
presence of Randy Moss ignited the Patriots'
offense, and the possibility that Pacman Jones
can turn off his crime and turn on his prime
time potential, one can't help but ponder whe-
ther Jerry Jones would risk it all on one or
both of these high risk players.

With 12 years of winlessness in playoffs, the
Cowboys' owner just might be willing to go
the high risk route, especially considering that
-if- they don't try to get Randy away from the
Patriots, the Patriots are likely to be the AFC
Super Bowl rep in 2008, and it certainly would
be easier to beat them -if- Randy was a Cow-
boy rather than a Patriot. Pacman? Probably
considered too high of a risk.

Pacman Jones? Rap sheet? An NFL team will
pick up 'Pacman' Titans probably will release
controversial CB, but he won't go jobless

Excerpt:

Wither "Pacman" Jones?

Difficult to imagine him in a Titans uniform next
season. Then again, it's difficult to imagine him
in any uniform next season. But unless the sus-
pended cornerback screws up again, he almost
certainly will be reinstated at some point be-
tween now and the end of next season.

And there will be a market for his services be-
cause he is so gifted. Best bet: Pacman will be
cut by the Titans and picked up by a team that is
not concerned about signing an outlaw.

Randy Moss?

Excerpt:

Q: With the Cowboys looking to improve their
team, what would be some of the positions need-
ing improvement? Also with the health issues of
Terry Glenn, what would be the chance for pick-
ing up some of the receivers from New England?
- Richard Smith, Garland, Texas

A: The Cowboys need to look hard at the re-
ceiver position, given the ages of Glenn and Ter-
rell Owens. Receiver probably would be best
addressed in the draft as opposed to free agency.
If you are suggesting the Cowboys sign Randy
Moss, I think that would be a giant risk.

Pairing Moss with Terrell Owens would be ask-
ing for problems. Someone like Donte Stallworth
might be possible, but I'd rather have a rookie
with a lot of potential, and the Cowboys have the
draft picks to score a receiver like DeSean Jack-
son of Cal or Malcom Kelly of Oklahoma. The
Cowboys also could use some reinforcements
in the defensive backfield.

I think either of these signings would
spell disaster in the locker room. Jones
for sure. Moss would be slightly more
palatable, but not while TO is on the
team. You can only have 1 Michael
Irvin type on your team at a time.

I saw DJ Hackett is a FA. He might
be a good addition to our receiving corp.
