From http://rotoworld.com/content/HeadLines.aspx?sport=NFL&hl=112589
"NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports the Patriots made free agent Zach
Thomas a contract offer Monday.
Thomas still plans to visit the Saints on Tuesday, and they would
probably provide him the best chance to start. This figures to be the
34-year-old Thomas' last NFL contract, so he may take the most
lucrative offer possible."
How do you Pats fans feel about the possibility of Thomas in the LB
corps next year? He had a tough year this past year with injuries,
but for the most part he's been very healthy, averaging 15 games
played a season from 1996-2006. And he's always been very good.

I love it.
As long as they have a backup plan or someone to rotate with him, that is.
People worry about his size, but he'd be the weak-side ILB, and as we've
seen with Seau the past two years, it's not about size at that position.
Besides, it would be cool having two Thomas's playing ILB. |

That means we'd have the Thomases - from A. to Z.

You better be more worried about his concussions and migraine
headaches than his size (which has never been an issue) if he signs. |

Which is why I said "as long as they have a backup plan or someone to rotate
with him."
Are the migraines a recent thing though? Did they come with the head trauma
or did he always have them? |

He received the concussion last Sept, but didn't start having the
migraines until after an Oct car accident. So who knows if the
concussion has anything to do with the migraines or not. |

I wouldn't waste your money on this.
If the Pats really wanted him, I don't think he would have left
Foxborough without having signed.
