First, a public congratulations to Sir Creep for winning the 2007 RSFF
FFL League Championship.

Second, before we head off into the haze that is the FFL off-season
(and the worse haze that comes from actually watching the Pro Bowl in
a desparate attempt to hold onto the NFL season) I wanted to put some
things on the table for discussion regarding next season's league
play.

There are lots of things that can be discussed - scoring changes,
roster requirements, etc - but the first thing, to me, should be -
should the league change from a re-draft league to a keeper league?
Assumption is we will have a full redraft in 2008, with any keeper
rules applying to those rosters moving forward.

For the record, I vote YES - Keeper League

Congrats to a guy who has to have his hand held every decision he makes?
Who should I start? What do I do? Who am I? Why does my wee wee burn when
I pee? C'mon - that's like congratulating a child for winning a race that

Although I have no objections to this at the present time, I reserve the
right to use the any of the 18.3 days of male-PMS time currently
allotted to piss, bitch, whine, moan and complain at my discretion.

As always, your constructive input is appreciated. Or at least I'm
sure it would be if there ever were any. Did your rock shift and wake
you up? Or did your brain cell just happen to fall into the "spew
bile" bin?

I'd be down with the keeper idea. Would be interested in discussing/
voting on how it gets done (all the specific rules).

Sure, let's have a keeper league, so long as it's limited in scope in
it's 'keeper-ness'. OTOH, you can't use the rosters THIS year.....it
would have to be 'from now on'. No one drafted/traded/etc with
keepers in mind for 07.

My issue with (from what I read in this NG) most of your keeper
leagues is that you can keep way too many good players, way too many
at the same position, etc etc. If it is VERY limited (I say no more
than 3-4 keepers overall, no more than 1 at any position) then I'm all
for it, though the redraft is perfectly fine for me in cyberland.

Thanks, dude. I've got you on the shortlist of people to contact should
anyone drop out. If you happen to change your email address, just post
to this NG with an update so I can change it in my files.

Thanks!

I'm with Creep on most of this, although I don't have a problem with
keeping multiple players at the same position. But that's something we
can vote on.

I'll start putting together a comprehensive rundown of all the rules,
then everyone can fire off their complaints or alternate suggestions.
Then we can have a vote to solidify everything.

Sound good?
