Knight, subbing for Rose, made two great plays at 3rd in the 8th. I also
never knew Don Werner was the catcher for this game. That's a trivia
question for the masses. Was Bench hurt? I didn't notice him in the dugout
afterwards.

From what I heard of Thom and Brantley duing one of the leadins, it was just
a day off and it happened to be Werner. (I barely remember Werner. I
couldn't have named him blind, but I could have said "Oh yeah, he was a
red... I think" if asked)
