He wanted to hang with those people so he eventually got his. Why did he
not marry the woman of his bastard child? Why did he have so much criminal
record on him so that he could not even legally own a gun to defend his
house?
It is a good thing that those people are good at sports because they are
certainly not any good at anything else.

" White " Illinois gunman Stephen Kaziemrczak was honored student. Killed
five people before taking his own life.
Four of the victims killed were white. No blacks... |

You got that right. There are screw-ups in every demographic.
It is okay for people to mourn the untimely passing of Sean Taylor in
regards to him being an exceptional football player.
It is wrong for people to try to rewrite history and suggest that he was a
good person or even a person who was trying to turn his life around. He was
a criminal thug and he chose to hang with his fellow criminal thugs and
sooner or later that thug life catches up with a person.
What sort of dumbass cat burglar does not even check that the house is
unoccupied? |

You got some inside info that you might want to share with us? Or are
you just passing gas as usual?

Was Taylor a criminal thug when he died? Can't say. But in his recent
past he pleaded no contest to assault and battery after being charged
with a felony weapons charge. If *anybody* should know better than to
engage in an armed confrontation with alleged thieves on their own turf,
it's the son of a cop. So a fair assumption is that he knew better, but
preferred to engage in criminal activities. I'd say he was definitely a
thug at one point.
Did he hang with his criminal buddies up until his death? Probably to at
least some degree. He stayed at the same home where his SUV was sprayed
with an AK-47. The guys who broke in had apparently done some work
around his home and were known to friends and/or relatives. That's not
much of a separation nor is it good judgment.
Was he changing things around in his life? Some say yes. I dunno. I do
know he failed to take the good advice of moving out of the area. Maybe
he was naive in thinking he could change himself while staying in the
same environment. Maybe deep down he really didn't want to change. I
have no idea.
I think Wilbon's article treated the subject well:
"The issue of separating yourself from a harmful environment is a
recurring theme in the life of black men. It has nothing to do with
football, or Sean Taylor or even sports. To frame it as a sports issue
is as insulting as it is naive. Most of us, perhaps even the great
majority of us who grew up in big urban communities, have to make a
decision at some point to hang out or get out."
