The conditions are that Walsh return stolen property and tell the
truth. Walsh's lawyer is balking at the "tell the truth" part and
wants him to be able to be immune from any actions even if the
information he supplies turns out to be false. Additionally, it turns
out that Walsh does *not* have any confidentiality agreement with the
Patriots, so this whole charade is simply Walsh's fears of being sued
if he lies, which apparently he either is planning on doing or fears
he is going to do. It sounds very much like his information is a lot
less factual and much more rumors and innuendo, and since the league
has stated that they have actual evidence that the Patriots did *not*
tape the Rams, sounds like Walsh and his lawyer are quite scared that
the league has hard evidence to contradict him.
