Probably the toughest in the NFL! If they make it to the playoffs, they
have a good chance of repeating 2005.

Do the Bungles, Brownies and RatBirds have the same schedule? I don't
remember if the division teams have all of the same extra-division
opponents. If so, then the Bungles and Brownies have the toughest schedule
because they have to play us. |

No, I don't think it's the same schedule. Every team in our division plays
every team in the AFC south (I thiink) and then each team in the AFC North
plays two teams each from the AFC East, AFC West, NFC East based on last
years division Standing. So while we get to play the Patriots someone else
in our division gets to play the Dolphins instead; We get the Chargers while
someone else gets the Raiders ect... |

Correct.

Incorrect.

Sort of got back on track here.
Each AFCN team will play:
6 games intradivision
4 games vs AFCS (Indy, Houston, J-ville, Tennessee) <-- all 4 finished
..500 or higher
4 games vs NFCE (Dallas, NYG, Philadelphia, Washington) <-- all 4 finished
..500 or higher
--- but obviously some of these are home, others are away, which for a team
like Pittsburgh was this past season is a big deal --- they'd much prefer
Indy at home than in the dome.
The two remaining games are the ones that are based on 2007 finish -- play
your mirror from the two remaining divisions in your conference.
Pittsburgh will get NE and SD
Cleveland will get Buff and Denver
Cinci will get NYJ and KC
Balt will get Miami and Oakland
So it is fair to say that while Balt gets an easier task in their AFCE and
AFCW matchups, as was earlier noted, they don't get to play themselves
(well, they might play -with- themselves, but not against themselves). They
have to play the division champs twice. So each team ends up playing 4
division champs --- Pitt gets SD, NE, Dallas, & Indy, while the other three
AFCN teams get Indy, Dallas, and 2 vs Pittsburgh. |

*Two intraconference games based on the prior year's standings (2 games).
These games match a first-place team against the first-place teams in the
two same-conference divisions the team is not scheduled to play that season.
The second-place, third-place, and fourth-place teams in a conference are
matched in the same way each year.

Pittsburgh Steelers (*Patsys and Chargers)
Home: Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Houston
Texans, Indianapolis Colts, San Diego Chargers, Dallas Cowboys, New York
