I guess it's all in how it's arranged...the Tears for Fears original
version doesn't come across as totally depressing, but Gary Jules
version just makes me want to commit suicide.

I think the Gary Jules version is tremendous. But I like music noir.

Oh yeah...I love it...It's a lot better than Tears for Fears, but for
once I agree with Enright it's got to be up there with the most
depressing songs of all time. I never got that feeling from listening
to the original.
