Vinny Cerrato seems to get his tentacles deeper into the Skins all the
time, so much so that it almost seems as if the team could be renamed
to the Forty-Niners East. In spite of just about everyone else's low
regard for VC, Snyder has of course recently promoted him to executive
"something-or-other" and given him more power over just about
everything.

To be sure, John Palermo never worked for the Forty-Niners but his
hiring as the new DL coach appears to because he is pals with Vinny.
Mariucci apparently remains in the mix for the next HC position
although it is looking less likely that he will actually be picked
(but who knows). Of course there are also several players on the team
that VC brought over from San Francisco and who knows who may be the
next addition from SF.

And so it goes.
