1. Brady must have been hurt.
2. The Giants were lucky.
Any way you look at it, the final score was GIANTS17-patriots14.

Its obvious the Pats fans do not realize that the Great players will rise to
the occasion like the Super Bowl and not allow an injury to affect them
unless of course it is due to a broken leg which obviously Brady did not
have

Another lesson for patriot fans: A great team will not allow any type of
luck destroy a good season or pick the wrong time to lose a game.

The Giants earned this one. This is the biggest game of the year, neither
injuries nor luck should influence the way a team performs. |

but none of em would ever agree that they wouldn't have even been in
Phoenix had none of the SD Big 3 been hurt or hurting.

Luck might have something to do with stopping the offense once, maybe
twice. But when you stifle the most prolific offense in NFL history
for an entire game, that goes way beyond luck. |

Any way you look at it, The Giants are the Super Bowl Champions. The
Patriots are not. |

There is no such thing as luck. What some call luck is simply
preparation meeting opportunity. (Vince Lombardi) |

Yeah, but look what just happened to them. They win the unprecedented
18 straight, and then draw a 10-6 wild card team in the Super Bowl.
They had to be salivating. Many of them seemed more concerned about
how they stacked up as the all-time greatest team than how they'd do
against the Giants. Then it all goes down the drain right before their
eyes. That had to be crushing. I wouldn't want it.

Great players rise to the occasion with injury. See Lawrence Taylor's
15 tackles 3 sacks game in only the SECOND HALF of the game vs. the
Redskins WITH A BROKEN RIGHT SHOULDER!

If the Pats lose based on luck then they do not deserve to win any
games.

I totally agree. No matter what they say before and afterwards, they
think they had the game in the bags. They didn't come out with the
emotions of getting it done, but instead they treat it as a big joke,
a pre-show for their celebration to be the best team in the history of
the game.
In short, they weren't ready (top to bottom, I don't think even the
coaches took the Giants seriously.) |

Guess BB shouldn't have lied on the injury report, THEN they might
have something to go by, but.....
