A dandy of a game Lumsden had with over 200 yards on only 12 carries.
Maas looked more like the hisself from his Eskimo days rather than
like last year. One could see improvement in the Tabbies over their 3
previous games. It's too bad they got off to a 0-5 start, and now 1-5,
because I think for the rest of the season they will half of their
games. They may not make the playoffs but I have little doubt they
could throw the proverbial wrench in to another team's aspirations.

You mean against a western team then... everybody in the east are bottom
feeding this year.

Bishop is still out. Allen is hobbling. McMahon is another Andre Ware.
Where is Eric Couch? When you're down to the overrated but gutsy Ian
Butler, then the team is close to scraping the bottom of the barrell.

Crouch is on the 9-week injured list (knee) and is eligible to return in
week 9. I hope he gets a fair shot, I'm interested to see how he does.
