Simple - at least in theory.

1. Don't make mistakes (especially turnovers)

2. Keep Brady off the field with long, clock-eating drives by Taylor,
Jones-Drew & Co.

3. When Brady is on the field: pressure him, pressure him, pressure him.

Absolutely key.

Only if the Jags jump out to a lead. Running the clock only benefits the
team that's in the lead. Keep in mind that "clock-eating drives" limit your
opponent's total number of possessions, but they limit your own as well.

This brings up another point -- it's important for the Jags to score EARLY
in the game, or at least to prevent the Pats from doing so. Part of the
reason why New England had a top 3 defense is because they put other teams
in an early deficit. That changes the nature of the game. If the Pats jump
out to a big lead, then the Jags will have to go away from their running
game to a certain extent -- which is probably the last thing they want to
do.

The key there, however, is to pressure him with only 4 guys. This has been
analyzed statistically over the course of the season. Brady kills you when
you only rush three or four guys without getting pressure. But if you bring
the house...he still kills you. The key is to do what Indy and the Giants
did well -- gain pressure with only 4 guys and drop 7 into coverage. Easier
said than done, especially without premier edge rushers like what Indy and
the Giants had.

Pats fan's opinion.

Score on defense.
Score on special teams.

Other than that, I don't know....

presure is great -- but if u blitz then u better hid the rusher as he will
just play the spot left open all day. i would think a double coverage on
moss and a stud on welker and hope for the best. the jax will consume the
clock - but will they get 7 or 3? and remember, foxobough winds and 25
degree weather does not help the kicker.

4. Blow up the Pats locker room with them in it, leaving only the
waterboys and coaches.

Other than that.. good luck cos JAX just aint got the horses.

You cannot be serious?

Are you suggesting that the officials will be biased in favor of the
Patriots?

No pass needed. Jacksonville isn't mentally prepared to beat the Patriots.
The Colts are a different story, that will be the real Superbowl.
Whatever NFC team gets to the SB will be the sacrificial lamb.
