Pick 2:
Grant @ OAK
Edge @ SEA
Alexander @ ARI
Fargas @ GB

Anyone playing Oakland (Grant) and ... ugh, I guess maybe the Edge
will get his against a Seattle defense that gives up decent points to
fantasy RBs (8th easiest).

Also, if all options are relatively equal, I tend to avoid playing
multiple RBs in the same game (i.e. Grant & Fargas or Edge &
Alexander). More often than not, you will NOT get two big games out
of those RBs. Best case scenario is usually that one will go off,
while the other is merely serviceable.

I agree with Wood about Grant, he's the best play of the bunch.

Fargas has been playing the best and has most upside but he also has
the toughest matchup in a game where they are likely to fall behind
early. Edge has been fairly consistent and has a decent matchup so
I'd probably go with him.

Grant for sure, and Edge has been consistant enough to keep in there,
hopefully he'll score this week also....

Grant's a no-brainer, Fargas and Edge are a coin-flip.

Yeah, I tend to agree with all you guys here. Normally, I would have played
Fargas over Edge after seeing how hot Fargas has been. But they are playing
GB, a decent run defense (#5 I think).

I'm not sure if there is really any legitimate reason to shy away from
opposing RBs. After all, the RBs would probably play the same whether they
are playing each other's teams or someone else's.

But I must admit that the thought did cross my mind - I think it's more a
superstition thing...

Still, I have Grant & Edge in there for now. I too hope they have good games.

Thanks for the help guys, and good luck to all you playoff guys!

Good analysis, but the reverse is also true. If you put two RB's from the
same game opposite to each other, at least one side will give you good
result. Rarely there would be both runners struggling in the same game.
