of any "Cowboy" fan who could actually pull for the Giants. I mean I
despise the Patriots as much as anybody, but I can take them being World
Champs a whole lot more than I can the Giants. Now we're going to have
to hear about how great Eli is and will Eli or Payton win more SBs. And
how great Tom Coughlin is now and what a motivator.... Yuck! Give me
19-0 and 4 SBs anyday over that!

What are you talking about? The Patriots cheated, it was great. Plus,
who cares about Eli? Cowboys will run him over next year.

If it was the Skins instead of the Giants, I don't think I could have
pulled for them. There's just something that rubs me the wrong way
about Belichick and Company. The latest round of allegations didn't
help any either.

I was going to ask after the Cowboys lost to them, "If you were a free
agent, which team would you want to sign with, Dallas or NY?" but I got
on my anti-Romo tirade and couldn't let go.

If I didn't grow up loving the Cowboys, I'd sign with the Giants based
on the last game of the season alone if I was a free agent. They've got
heart and fight in them. The Cowboys seem to get swagger and arrogance
after a little success and how they played in that last game vs the
Skins showed that they lack the heart and intestinal fortitude.

If I was good and wanted to fleece buffoon Jerry Jones and didn't
really care if I won that much, I sign with the Cowboys though. Get a
fat signing bonus, play good enough now and then that people can kinda
justify the signing and basically sit back a pretty much play the role.
You'd get the attention cuz the Boys are high profile and there'd be a
bunch of other guys who were not earning their paychecks so you
probably wouldn't be raked over the coals too badly. Cash that
paycheck, strut around a little and flash that smile. *Ric Flair
"Wooooooo!"*

Sorry, I veered off the topic a little. Anyway, congrats again to the
Giants, full value for their SB victory.

I agree to a point. Being a Cowboys fan, I hate the Giants. And the
do run at the mouth sometimes. But the the Patriots, particularly
Bill Belechick, made themselves pretty easy to hate too.

I look at it this way, the Giants blew their load this year. Next
season everyone will be gunning for them which will make Dallas's job
a little easier. But the patriots are still a great team and they
have a high 1st round draft pick. If they get another playmaker for
their team they could be back again next year only better.

I thought "Spygate I" cost them a first-round draft pick? Did they
have more than one pick in the first round?

I think they had traded for San Frans 1st pick in last years draft...

NFC. I can still support the conference even if it isn't the Cowboys
in the SB.....

......unless it's the Iggles. I'd never root for those bastards!

I was gonna post this exact sentiment. My Dad taught
me when I was a youngster to root for your conference
in the big game even if your team isn't there.

But I'll admit, I was rooting for the Pats when they
played the Eagles. Just can't stomach the thought
of Eagles fans being able to crow about being champs.
And I'd have to root against the Niners - the Boys
need to be the first to win a 6th Super Bowl. Luckily
there's no danger of Frisco getting within sniffing distance
of a title for quite awhile Smile
