Looked like the Gators that "should" have showed up against Auburn, LSU
and UGA. Usually a tough one with vandy but not today.
I liked how Tebow proved he can win with his arm, as there has always
been doubt about that.

I'd like to think that the defense actually demonstrated that they
could play well against good offense, but they may have merely
showed that mediocracy is looks good against a mediocre offense.

They (the defense) played better, but not at the level needed win an
SEC Championship. Four consecutive penalties? Yet another blown
coverage? Good, but not great. Nice to see Pouncey clogging up the
middle most of the day. Give the kid some coaching and teach him some
solid fundamentals and he could become a real force on defense.

We still didn't get consistant pressure on the QB. I expect Steve to
exploit that fact next week. USC's problem has been an inability to
protect the QB. When he's protected, they hit big plays. Since we
are struggling to put any pressure on the opposing QB's our secondary
better come to play, because I expect the ole' ball coach to attack us
deep....often.

Face it, UF doesn't deserve to be in Atlanta this year. It will be
very sad to watch UT represent us, given the drubbing we gave them
this year. But, you have to play ALL of the games, and frankly we
aren't at that level this year....at least, the defense isn't.

BTW, I'm sick of hearing Charlie Strong talk about not taking chances
with young players. Why not? What we've done up to this point has
NOT worked, so why not turn them loose and let them play. They gotta
grow up sometime, and this is the year to do it. How long are we
going to wait? Till they are juniors? We are 4 months into the
season - not much to lose now.

Post Mortem It's a shame Campbell threw that INT - he really played a heck of a game. I think it's pretty clear when receivers run good routes and the playbook actually gets opened up for him - he's pretty good. The defense really let the team down this time. 4 TD'
