The CFL took a big step backwards with the signing of Ricky Williams today
by Toronto. The message? Get in trouble with drugs and you can go up to
Canada for a year and thumb your nose at he policy.

I was looking at the TO roster and they don't exactly need another running
back. Even if John Avery is not back to 100%, they have Saladim McCullough.
You got to feel for McCullough. He replaced Kelvin Anderson in Calgary a
couple of years ago and had a great half a season. His reward? Calgary
brings in bad boy Lawrence Phillips and dump him. McCullough goes to
SDaskatchewan and spends a season on their practice roster behind Keith and
Holmes. Now he get s a chance in TO, especially if Avery is not up to snuff
and along comes another high profile bad boy. With Ottawa gone, there
doesn't seem a likely home for McCullough. Pity. I also would have like to
see Jeff Johnson get a shot at being a starter before he gets old and
retires. Johnson filled in for Avery last year and eeryone was "amazed" at
how good he was. A tired old refrain from me, but we have too many imports
playing in this league. I just read where they increased the number by one
from last year too. Lets stop playing O Canada at the games and just play
The Star Spangled Banner!

Onterrio Smith.

How much has been said about him?

Really little if anything. But Williams is in Toronto, and like another TO
it wants all of the attention.

I spoke with a former Bomber who played in the 30's and 40's. His name was
Mel Wilson and in his day each team could have 3 Americans, which to him was
4 too many!

Well perhaps it is too easy to get all self-righteous about who comes to the
CFL. However the self-righteous really need to have their bubble burst as to
return to reality. I suggest to anyone that spews what they do about
Williams and condemn the CFL for allowing the transaction to remove their
blinders and carefully scrutinize the trash that has infested and is
infesting the ranks of the NFL. Here's a hint...start with the 2005 Vikings
and work to the other teams from there and spare yourself the blowhard
ramblings about Williams.

BTW, one guy that can stuff his words up his ass is none other than Mr.
Arrogance himself, Joe "ow my leg" Theismann. He claims he is now ashamed to
have worn the "A" on his helmut during his tenure with the Argos from 1971
to 1973. Well since that's the case I am ashamed that such a moronic
babblist played in Canada.

Lastly I haven't seen this extent of revulsion to a former NFL player coming
to the CFL. Hell when a bona fide scumbag the likes of Lawerence Phillips
played for the Als and then the Stamps, the ballywhooers were nowhere near
as vocal as they are when it comes to Ricky Williams. And these experts in
tunnel vision are so wrapped in such that they demonstrate the extent of
their hypocritical babblings by completely ignoring Onterrio "the Whiz Kid"
Smith.

'Nuf said.
