It would be nice to see Kellen's kid finally growing up, but how smart it is
for him to postpone surgery in order to play in a relatively meaningless
game. I wonder what the Brownies fans think?

I also find it impossible to believe Brady's ankle is what's keeping him
out. More likely he doesn't relish the media circus that would ensue with
him there. I imagine he would have spent a lot of time answering questions
he'd rather not hear. : )

Right after the AFCCG Brady was interviewed on a local radio
station and said that it wasn't likely that he would be in Hawaii. The
injury excuse is something that players have been using for years. Hell,
Dan Marino was selected nine times and showed up twice. As for Brady's
ankle someone who knows him quite well says that he thinks something's not
right..... so who knows?

Maybe so, but with the way that Belicheck abuses the "Official Injury
Report" it's pretty tough to be sure. As I said earlier in some thread, I'm
willing to give Brady the benefit of the doubt, but not Moss. Don't bother
trying to convince me otherwise, it fits his MO throughout the majority of
his career. He plays when he wants to & he doesn't when he feels otherwise.
He may have too many meetings coming up with his lawyer to spare the time.

Now Gates is going for surgery? It sounds like he'll probably be ready for preseason, but why did they wait this long to make the decision? On the positive side, the doc who's doing the cutting has a good track record with foot surgeries on pro athletes & they seem to come back as good
