When a coach takes the nation's 5th ranked team into a home opener
against a Division 1AA team and LOSES; that coach absolutely
positively must be fired on the spot. As long as Lloyd Carr remains as
coach of the Wolverines, the University of Michigan does not have a
snowball's chance in Hell of winning a national championship.

He came close to winning one in 1997. Only Woodson's getting paid before the
bowl game prevented that from happening. He's done more than Bo Schembechler
ever did.
Besides, Michigan doesn't win championships or have perfect seasons. One in
the last 60 years? Congrats. |

Line 3, we have a caller from Nebraska claiming that he intentionally kicked
the ball to a teammate, meaning the win over Mizzou was not legitimate.
Line 4, we have a caller identifying himself as Charles Woodson's agent, who
paid him $10,000 before the bowl game, which would negate that win.
Line 5, we have Florida State, your 1997 MNC. |

The only way we got rid of Coach Mo was that he went into that drunken
stupor and went nuts down some public street. If not for that, HE
might still be the Head coach. Lloyd's not going anywhere...

Well, Lloyd will most likely depart on his own terms, barring
consecutive 3-8/4-7 seasons, paving the way for former Meatchik'n
assistant Les Miles to take the HC spot. |

A) They never should have been ranked above #20;
B) Henne's the one who can't lead a team;
C) Nice defense, Ron English;
D) It's a tribute to Carr that the Weenies even came back from 28-14
to take the lead;
E) The guy's won 76% of his games. |
