I expect Enright and Jaros to be a little more circumspect in their
outrageous claims now.

/ He always pictured himself a libertarian, which to my
\ way of thinking means ``I want the liberty to grow rich
/ and you can have the liberty to starve''. It's easy to
\ believe that no one should depend on society for help
/ when you yourself happen not to need such help.
John H. Cushman Jr.: "Mr. Lewis [who founded the Center for Public
Integrity] wrote to say that he had been trying his
best to avoid doing exactly that [the statements were
"lies"].

John H. Cushman Jr.: "False statements they may be, but contrary to the
reference in the earlier version of this post, until
Mr. Lewis is able to read the speakers’ minds and
hearts, he says he is not prepared to call them lies.

Of course, as could easily pertain to you and your insistence that these
statement were "lies", Mr. Lewis has this to say:
"...if someone, for whatever reasons, fervently, unquestioningly, believes
certain information and wants to believe it with unswerving, tunnel vision
certainty, so much so as to be willing to repeat it over and over again,
almost like a mantra, for months and months. Sissela Bok wrote in her classic
work 'Lying: Moral Choice in Public and Private Life' thirty years ago about
the phenomenon of clinging to false beliefs: 'The more dogmatic the belief
that one possesses truth, the greater the liberties taken on its behalf with
truth-telling!'"

A Look Back at Republican Lies The issue was never about freeing the Iraqis from Saddam. It only became that when the issues they preached before the war turned out to be complete bushit. Interesting how often Bush said Saddam could keep power if he turned over WMD he didn't have. Dec.
a little clean up Well let's take a look at the season. No big injuries. No rampant infections. Bentley *almost* comes back. A surprise outstanding QB A formidable running game No controversies Knocking on the front door of the playoffs Looking at a possible 11-5 record Da
Charlie Batch vs. Ben Roethlisberger Personally I think Charlie is a better QB than Big Ben. I wonder how much of a rope Coach Tomlin will give Ben this year if he performs badly. Thoughts?
How many keepers in your keeper league ? We keep 3 It allows you to cover the main positions and still enough to recycle players for the next draft. How about your league ?
