I think we are all missing the point here. Had Rush made this comment a
few weeks ago, the story would be burried in the sports section of the
paper. But he made them on the eve of the pill abuse story being broken.

ESPN saw a convenient way to ask for his resignation before the the real
trouble hit the fan.

[Knocking gently on head].. Hello? HELLO??!!!

The OP was making a joke. Funny. HA HA! It's called a pun. A play on words
between Rush the commentator, and a pass rush that QBs see every game.

Sometimes you have to explain everything. Sheesh! Wink

That's funny. The pass Rush? Yes, McNabb should expect that.

What I can't understand is why everyone is getting their panties in
wad just because rush is going after McNabb. That's just the way the
game is played, folks. When NcNabb drops back into the pocket, rush
is going to come after him.

I really can't see any logical reason why people expect rush to stop
coming after McNabb. Nobody expects rush to stop coming after Kurt
Warner, or Brett Farve, or Draw Bledsoe.

Now, I understand that, being black, McNabb grew up with a societal
disadvantage. But, to expect rush to stop coming after McNabb, isn't
that going a little too far? Do people really expect McNabb to drop
back in the pocket and just have rush not come after him?

Sorry, but I think this whole rush vs. McNabb thing is just silly.
Seriously, if the Eagles really wanted to stop rush from coming after
McNabb, maybe instead of pouting all this PC mombo jombo, they should
get off their asses, and get a few good offenseive linemen to take
care of rush.

I'm not sure he'll hear us, because of the loud "whoosh" going over his
head.
