ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -- The Buffalo Bills named Turk Schonert as
their new offensive coordinator on Wednesday.
Schonert, Buffalo's quarterbacks coach the past two seasons, replaces
Steve Fairchild, who recently accepted the head coaching position at
Colorado State after two seasons with the Bills.
Schonert, 51, was a quarterback in the league for 10 seasons before
joining the coaching ranks. This will be his 13th season as an
assistant, and first as a coordinator.
Schonert takes over an inept Bills offense that has ranked 30th in the
league the past two seasons under Fairchild.
