will family lose their health assuming they live here. Will they join the
many athletes who left the area as soon as they could like Thome. Thome took
one year in here in stifling heat and said to family I am gettting the helll
out of this place.. but who would know that Alan Iverson and agent wanted
out too? And who else? I give Donovan less the 50/ 50 chance and even less
his family stays here. But hell this is not my speciality so I can be wrong.
If he were smart he would take a fast beeline out of here

Dear tfln,
The list of athletes who stayed here after their playing days is too long to
put here.m However herew are a few examples....
Sixers -- Julius Irving, Charles Barkeley (there are others)
Flyers -- Bobby Clarke, Bob Kelley, Bernie Parent, Mike Holmgren... That's
just the tip of the iceberg.
Phils -- Gary Mathews
Birds -- The list of Eagles who stayed here after their playing days is
longer than the Flyer list. Mike Quick and Harold Carmichael leap to mind.
You clearly don't know anything about this area, do you? Perhaps you ought
to leave?
Best,
Lou |

So are we arguing what percent of Philly players stayed after their playing
days were over or are you just listing some that did?
Also because some players did that don't mean they were any more
knowledgable about health connection then the average person who lives here
and never saw a link to f rated air or city with most asthma and mortality
( for women in some age groups) etc etc etc.
The bottom line is most serious athletes especially those who depend on
aerobic ( lungs and heart) don't train here and or live here. and most
intelligent people who understand the link to clean air and better health
would never ever consider Philly a safe place to live for their families. If
you can see all our health care commercials are ratings for air and compare
to other big cities and not worry about those things, rest assured others
will

Ricky
You picked the perfect team and city for yourself
F rated air
The city with the most asthma and depression, and respiratory deaths and
disease
Most murders per population
and you think sane intelligent great sports stars want to play here?
Only if they have to
