Finally a good game on mnf.

the TV guys were crying about vic and saying bush was drafted to high. what a joke.

these guys were too chatty and so were the sports reporter babes. in
fact MNF is entirely too chatty. Which they would cut out the SVJs
(Sport Video Jockeys).

It'd be nice to have sports games aired without any sports talking
heads. I know NBC did an experiment one year where they aired a game
without any SVJs. Don't remember if they did this with all games or
with just one game. nothing but crowd noises, made you feel like you
were in the game.

Yeah, I remember that game. They used the stadium announcer
instead of a TV play by play. It was a one shot only deal though, and
hasn't been repeated since.

NBC brass at the time prolly couldn't stand the non-chatter in the game
without hosts.. Seems they rather like useless noise than no noise.
